Overview

This document contains an overview of the new structure and features of L^ATEX. It is not a self-contained document, as it contains only the features of L^ATEX<#40#><#40#> which have changed since version 2.09. You should read this document in conjunction with an introduction to L^ATEX<#41#><#41#>.

<#1924#>Section~#Sec:class+packages#43><#1924#>: contains an overview of the new structure of L^ATEX<#44#><#44#> documents. It describes how classes and packages work and how class and package options can be used. It lists the standard packages and classes which come with L^ATEX.

<#1926#>Section~#Sec:209#46><#1926#>: shows how to process old L^ATEX<#47#><#47#> documents with L^ATEX2_e.

It lists some error messages which are new in L^ATEX2_e<#49#><#49#> and it describes some of the more common problems and how to cure them, or where to find further information.
